Obituary of Lorenzo Carswell

Lorenzo "Sam" Carswell, 68 of St. Petersburg Fl, passed away on Tuesday August 9th under the care of hospice. He was born in Dublin Georgia and raised by his grandparents. He later moved to St. Petersburg Fl at the age of 16. He attended Boca Ciega High School and earned a certification in auto mechanics. He loved fishing, playing pool and watching the Buccaneers play football on Sundays.

He was succeeded in death by his father, Virgil Shivers, mother, Vera Carswell and sister, Gloria Parrish.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Carswell, brother, Woodrow Carswell, sisters Barbara Carswell and Patricia Davis(Kimble) and a host of extended family members and friends whom all will miss him.
