Obituary of Tracy Lynne Starry

Tracy Lynne Starry found peace on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 after a brave battle with cancer. She is survived by many angels. Her husband Todd Charles Starry, her two children, Michael and Katherine, her two step children, Samantha and Brandon, her brother David, and of course her wonderful grandchildren, Mikey, Emmett, Alina, Aria and Aria. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Vade Cook and Sandra Darlene Cook/Scholfield. Traci was born in Bradenton, Florida on January 9th, 1965. She lived a beautiful life of faith and service to those around her. She was not just a mother of two; she was a mother to anyone in need. She first utilized this capacity to love in starting her home daycare service and then in her 15 year career at the Bay Pine VA as a pharmacy technician where she proudly served our veterans. Illness forced her into early retirement but did not slow her down. Tracy was a sun-bathing, God worshiping, cookie-baking, child-spooling, Farkle Champion. She was a woman of great faith. Her relationship with God sustained her in all seasons. She praised Him with all that she had and trusted His love to mend all things. To watch her worship made you feel so close to God you could reach out and touch Him. It was through knowing God’s great love that Traci transitioned to her place in His presence in the end with beauty and grace. She cracked us all up and even in her final days there was still laughter. She left this world far better than she found it. She was our sunshine, our Angel.
