Obituary of Adelaide Maria Teixeira Orlando

Adelaide Maria Teixeira Orlando, 88, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 in Palm Harbor, Florida.

Born in Portugal, she was married to the late Carlo Orlando. She is the daughter of the late Alvaro Jose Teixeira and Ines Rua Teixeira. Adelaide resided in Florida for more than 30 years and previously residing in Pawtucket, RI.

Adelaide mostly enjoyed being with her family. Family was everything to her. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading the Bible and preaching God’s word. She was a loving and caring mother who lived for her children. She was a teacher in Portugal and worked in the family business in Florida until she retired.

She is survived by her sister, Virginia de Sousa of Brasil and her three children; Gerardo Orlando and his wife, Maria de Lurdes Orlando of Palm Harbor, Florida, Carla Orlando of Lincoln, Rhode Island and Rosangela Orlando of Palm Harbor, Florida; her grandsons, James Oliveira and Jeffrey Oliveira of Rhode Island; her granddaughters: Susan Orlando of Colorado and Rachel Nicole Hamm of Palm Harbor, Florida; her great granddaughter, Autumn Roehrick of Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
