Obituary of Alexander Itel

Itel, Alexander (Alex), 56, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on 28 February 2024.  Born and raised in Oberrohrdorf, Switzerland, he immigrated to the US around 1992.  He is survived by his wife Rose, beloved dog, Odus, parents, Bernadette Kaiser and Peter Itel, siblings, Roger Meier, Tamara Itel, & Peter Itel, niece Tatjana and nephew Ruben.
Alex was self-employed.  

He was a free spirit who enjoyed everything that went fast:  particularly Harley Davidson motorcycles and flying airplanes.  He loved animals, nature and hiking and was very involved with his church.  He also had a strong desire to help others.  Alex’s easy smile, passion for taking chances and trying new things will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 9th at 2:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or One Tree Planted.
