Obituary of Elaine L. Baron

Elaine Baron, age 89, of Largo, Florida, passed away January 27, 2024. Elaine was born May 20,1934 in Milford, Michigan, to Perry and Kathleen Ellis. She grew up in the small time city of Milford where she met the love of her life, Fred Baron. In June of 1953 Elaine and Fred were married and moved to Allen Park, Michigan. Their first son, Rick, was born a year later in 1954 and a second son, Brian, was born  in 1958. Elaine worked for Pontiac Motors in Pontiac Michigan. Elaine and Fred eventually had a home built on Wolverine Lake in Oakland County, Michigan. Years later in 1967, they moved to Belleair Bluffs, Florida.  Elaine loved antiques, creative home decor, and playing her Hammond organ. She eventually opened the successful “Elaine’s Antiques” store in Antique Alley in Belleair Bluffs. 

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents Perry and Kathleen Ellis, husband Fred Baron, and brother Richard Ellis.

She is survived by her two sons, Rick and Brian, along with her daughter-in-law Lee Baron.  

Elaine was a much loved mother and wife. She taught her sons morals and ethics to live by and made the house a loving home. Elaine will be greatly missed but always in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 17th, at 2:00pm. Family and friends are welcome at 1:30pm for time to gather. The Celebration of Life will be held at E James Reese Funeral Home, 6677 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772.
