Obituary of John Kelly

John Kelly, 61, passed away in Seminole, Florida on January 22^nd, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Michele Althouse. John is survived by his daughter, Samantha Kelly; parents, Edward Kelly and Christine Kelly; siblings, Christine (Jason) Pastuch, Edward Kelly Jr., Barbara (Chick) Gaul; and many nieces and nephews.

John attended Collingdale High School, where he excelled at giving the middle finger salute. Eventually, he became a professional roofer, prompting him to open his own business, “Kelly for Roofing.” His career exemplified how hard-working (or hardly working) John was and he mastered it. His pride and joy was his daughter, Sammie, whom he called his little weasel. He was known for his wit and comical jokes. His smile and laugh were contagious and will be remembered by all who knew him.
