Obituary of Albert Jones, Jr

Mr. Albert “Steve” Jones, Jr, age 63, of Clearwater, passed away on November 9th, 2023. He was born in Tampa, FL, at MacDill Air Force base, and he and his siblings traveled thoughout various states along with their parents. He started enjoying bowling as a young boy, and this passion continued throughout his life. As an adult, Steve enjoyed motorcross racing with his sons.

Steve is preceded in death by his father, Albert S. Jones, and his brother Gary Dean Jones of Clearwater.

He is survived by his wife Karen Olsen of St. Petersburg; children A.J. Jones III of St. Petersburg and Andrew Jones of Clearwater; sister Patricia (Keith) Shelton of Clearwater; mother Sondra Jones of Clearwater; nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, at E. James Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Blvd, Seminole, FL 33772. Family and Friends are welcome to arrive at 1:00pm and the service will begin at 1:30pm. There will time to gather and share stories until 3:00pm.
