Burks was half of the longest friendship I’ve enjoyed in my adult life. He and Kim were the only non family at my wedding to Bruce. Sadly, the last time I saw Burks was Bruce’s celebration of life. I’ve fondly remembered our crazy talks on a wide range of topics and it makes me smile. I will miss him and my deepest condolences to Kim, Burks Jr, Krista, grandchildren, and extended family. He was one of a kind.
