Obituary of Vincent Quelle

In Loving Memory of Vincent Quelle, he passed away peacefully on October 26th , 2023, at the age of 93. Son of the late Manuel Quelle and Josephine Rodriguez Quelle, he was born on October 9th, 1930, in Tampa, Florida. He lived a life of dedication, creativity, passion for the outdoors, and world travel. Vincent served with honor in the United States Navy, embodying a commitment to duty and service to his country. After his military service, he dedicated 37 years to a successful career at Tampa Electric. He was a loving father, a cherished grandfather, and a proud great-grandfather.

Vincent is survived by his love, Janis Johnson; two children, Therese (John) Fontes, and Cheryl (David) Lombaridia; three grandchildren, John (Kelly) Fontes, Ashlee (Ryan) Fontes, and Sheri (Derek) Born; nine great-grandchildren, John (Johnito) Fontes III, Olivia Fontes, Elizabeth “Lily” Fontes, Therese “Reese” Fontes-Comber, Aedan Fontes-Comber, Gabriel Born, Christian Born, Emory Born, Kenzie Born. He is preceded in death by his son Vincent Quelle and his brother Manuel Quelle.

Vincent's memory will forever live in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. We’ll miss his deep, soft-spoken voice, warm hugs, and laughter that echoed with joy.
