Obituary of Nancy Lee Berner

Nancy Lee Berner, 87, was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on August 29, 1936 and passed away on September 16, 2023 in St Petersburg, FL.

Nancy is survived by her sister, Mary (Steve) Allen of Madeira Beach; brother, Robert (Anne) Berner of Georgia; daughters Patricia Griesmeyer of St Petersburg, Lynda (Kevin Foley) Smith of St Petersburg, Janet Smith of Missouri and Shannon (Patrick) Lutz of Chicago, and son William Smith of Maryland; granddaughters Bethany Hyatt, Angelica Foley and Chantal Gonsalves; grandson, Ryan Dunbar; nephew Brian Berner; her closest friends Dusty Garrett and Hank Lawton; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Adele Berner and biological father, Carl Olsen; stepfather Richard Berner; and her brother, Richard Berner ll.

Nancy enjoyed crocheting blankets and loved her dogs.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her family and friends. May they find peace in knowing she is now free from all pain and suffering. Sleep in peace, Nancy, until we meet again.
