Obituary of Robert Gerrior

Robert Gerrior “Bobby”, 76, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on July 12, 2023, at home with his family.  

Born and raised in Dearborn Heights MI, he graduated from Taylor High School and lived out the majority of his life in Howell, MI.  

His was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Laura Gerrior; sibling Doris Sanders (Chris). 

Bobby is survived by his wife Diane Gerrior; daughters DeAnne Fritts (Andy), Andrea McCarter (Jason), and grandchildren Brodie Hodge, Cassidy Fritts, Marc Fritts, Myles Fritts, Dempsey McCarter, and nephew Chris Sanders.  

Bobby worked for Ford Motor Company for 42 years, starting his career as an Assembler and working his way to the prestigious position of President for UAW Local 931.  

He will greatly be missed for his happy outlook on life, kindness, friendliness, contagious laugh, and love for his family.  He loved everything Ford Motor Company, enjoyed the outdoors, watching Detroit Tiger baseball, and driving his Ford Super Duty. 

His kind spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
