Obituary of William Scaggs

William "Bill" Scaggs of Seminole, Florida passed away peacefully at Wright's Nursing Home on March 3, 2022. He was under the care of Hospice. He was born April 22 1933, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of James & Wilma Scaggs.
He joined the Army and later transferred to the Air Force where he was a weapons Maint. Tech. Bill was awarded the Air Force Commendation medal for Heroism in 1965. In 1971 he retired as a MSGT. He then pursued a career in manufacturing electronics for air craft.
Surviving are his wife Carol (Folkers) Scaggs of Florida, daughter Dr. Amanda (Carl) Flagg of Tennessee, son Robert Scaggs of Texas, two step children Richard Hussemann of Florida and Lisa Dorrell. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren and 7 great grand children.
There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice.
