Obituary of Elizabeth Pearl Dixon

Elizabeth Pearl (Mullins) Dixon, 100 of Seminole, FL, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 due to natural aging, while in the care of Season’s Hospice House. She was born in Hardin County, Kentucky, December 21, 1920 to Hugh and Thelma Mullins and was the youngest of four children and the last to pass away. “Nana” is now home with her Lord and Savior. She chose a most noble career of being a stay-at-home Mom where she found fulfillment in caring for her 4 children and step-daughter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 yrs Henry Earl Dixon and her Step-Daughter Wanda J Potter. She is survived by her children, William P. (Margaret) Dixon, Catherine Elaine (Pierre) Nizet, Rebecca E. (Steven) Marking and Michael L. Dixon (Laura) 10 Grandchildren; 25 Great-Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren. After raising all her children Libby got involved with playing on her computer, caring for her outdoor plants, oil painting with friends, sewing, quelling and numerous other hobbies to fill her days with joy. “Libby” known by most of her friends at The Villas of Casa Celeste ALF was deeply loved by all that took care of her over a 9 yr period. She was always known as the “kind, generous and sweet” Lady who always had a peppermint candy or Mint Chocolate to offer her caregivers when coming through her door on a daily basis. Our Beloved Mother and Prayer warrior will be forever missed and Loved by her Family and friends. Elizabeth will be buried with her husband in Magnolia, KY with a date still to be announced.
