Obituary of Robert O’Hearn

Robert (Bob) O’Hearn Jr. September 20, 1960 – May 10, 2019 Bob left us peacefully and quietly, surround by his family and friends, those closest to him. Bob spent several decades serving and working in many volunteer organizations throughout Pinellas County, Project P.U.P (Pets Uplifting People), People of Pinellas a Volunteer Community. As well as, a member and leader in several Social Organizations in Pinellas County. He loved being a part of his community and helping those in need. Bob graduated from Dixie Hollins High School, and went to St Pete College. He worked in several Plumbing wholesale operations in Pinellas County and Sarasota. Most recently he was a Buyer for HCA / Parallon, Largo, FL. Bob enjoyed telling people he was born at Mound Park, not out of pride, but when he did most people thought it was a park and he was born in a field, he got great joy out of joking with people. He was a man of few words, but those he said he meant. He offered true and loyal love and kindness to those he shared his life with. He enjoyed life to its fullest and never looked back with any regret, only fond memories. Bob left behind, his life partner of 38 years, Sam Jones, Donna & John McAuley (Mother), Robert O’Hearn Sr (Father), Debbie O’Hearn (Sister), Tim O’Hearn (Brother), Sean McAuley (Step-Brother), Karen & Jim Debuty-Hart (Aunt), Deb Debuty (Aunt), along with lifetime friends, Dennis Glover, Gregg Horner, and 100’s of others that were a part of his life, made a difference, brought Joy, and all brought love. There is a huge hole left in our world, one that will never be filled, but one that we will try to fill with the love we all shared with him. It’s time to rest now.
