Obituary of Anne Marie Sabatini

Anna (“Anne”) Marie Sabatini (nee Perito) passed peacefully on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the age of 89, due to natural causes from Alzheimer’s disease, in her home she shared with her daughter in Largo, FL. Anne was born and raised in Bronx, NY with 7 siblings, met and married her husband of 60 years and started their family. They eventually moved to southern NJ in the early 70s where she continued her lifelong career as a telephone operator at Rancocas Valley Hospital-Willingboro, from which she retired, the Sands Hotel Casino-Atlantic City & Bacharach Rehab-Pomona in her retirement. After suffering the tragic loss of her eldest daughter, Joanne, in 1976, her faith in God & strong fortitude held her grieving family together in spite of her own pain. Anne passed on Joanne’s birthday. Anne was a beautiful, stylish, sassy, fun-loving woman, the life of the party, who loved music, sang with a lovely voice and loved to dance. She was one of a kind and gave us a lifetime of memories and legacy we will forever cherish and keep alive. Anne is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio & Placida Perito, her husband, Dan, eldest daughter, Joanne, and son-in-law, Rick Ricciotti. She is survived by her sons Richard & Paul Sabatini, daughter Cristie Ricciotti, brother and sister-in-law Vincent & Marilyn Perito, grandchildren Chris & Linzi, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her “third daughter” of four decades, Carla Sabatini; two lifelong friends, Ursula Klisches & Terry Petaccia; and many loving friends in FL. Special thanks to her daytime caregiver, Linda, and the “Purple Team” of Suncoast Hospice for their compassionate care of our mother.
