My name is Norman L. Britt IV. Amy came across my mind today, and I decided to try and find her on Google. To my utter shock and dismay I found this site. May I offer my most sincere condolences. I knew Amy. I think we met at an art workshop in the FSU union, and we remained friends for several years. We would go to parties together, and hang out at her apartment in the Timbers watching movies. The movies I brought over to watch were avant-garde (weird), but Amy always watched them with interest and we had very existential conversations afterwards. I loved the fact the Amy was artistic, and I was mesmerized by all the cut-out collages she would make. She had so many at her apartment; and they were not only incredible but so inspiring. The last time I was at her apartment, as I was leaving and getting in my car, I saw that she was throwing away two paintings. I remember asking her why, and she said she didn't keep everything. I was stunned. I asked if I could have the paintings and she said yes. I was insistent that she sign each of them; so she brought them back inside her apartment and did so. She even helped me figure out how to get them in my 2-door sedan. One painting was on particleboard that has long since deteriorated and been disposed of, but I remember taking a picture of it. The other painting (attached) I've had for over 20-years, and have showcased it in every apartment I've lived in until now; and it always elicits positive commentary. Amy has had, and will always have, a special place in my heart and memory. I can see her smile and hear her laughter even now in my mind's eye, and it lamentably brings tears to my eyes. Rest in Love and Light Amy Moriah Workman!

Even though I never got to meet Amy, or her sisters I followed your lives from a distance being a close relative and doing our family genealogy. I know your father Don but haven’t seen him or Larry Len in a long time. Godspeed and condolences to all of the family.

Oh my goodness, I remember Amy from the days when Sara and I worked together at Hertz . I was always so impressed with Amy’s dedication to her academics , athletics and family even when it was extremely difficult. She was a beauty inside and out . I’m so very sorry to hear the whole family has endured such a heartache . Please accept our heartfelt sympathy . ♥️
