Obituary of Stephen John Rusnell

Stephen John Rusnell passed away peacefully to the lulling tunes of Pink Floyd on May 7th, 2022 at Bay Pines Hospice in St. Petersburg, Florida. Steve was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, before entering the Navy at just 17. After receiving an honorable discharge, Steve settled in Clearwater, Florida, where he remained until the end, captivated by all the beauty this lovely state had to offer.

Steve was a veteran, a machinist by trade, and passionate photographer. Steve enjoyed the finer things in life, and I believe he felt everything more intensely than everyone else --- which makes sense why he would want everything to be beautiful.

Stephen was survived by his three children, Stephen (“Stevie/Steve Jr.”), Robert, and Jamie, as well as his life partner, Evelyn West. Stephen is also survived by his cat, Ginny, his mother, sister, mothers of his children, and all the friends who’s lives he touched with his kind heart and big personality.
