Karen left this world on March 20th after a very brave and courageous fight. She passed from a horrific accident on March 4th, while driving her motorcycle. Karen was known for her beautiful fun-loving smile and caring and sassy attitude.
 
Karen was born on April 19, 1967, at St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. The family moved to Key Largo, FL., and there Karen graduated from Coral Shores High School in 1985. Later she continued her education through ITT and St. Peterburg College. Her career included working for Raytheon, General Electric and Spectrum Custom Molds and manufacturing. She was also a member of the Stilettos on Steel-Nature Coast Chapter.
 
She leaves her husband, Art Brueckner, and children, Jessica (Joe), Ashlee (Joe), Jake, Julie (Ryan), Sara (Robbie), plus grandchildren, Allyson, Andrew, Ethan, and Mackenzie. She also leaves her mother Gloria J. King, a sister Shellie (Grant) and brother Richard Jr. (Katrena), plus her Aunt Merna and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Richard S. King, Sr.
