Amerino “Rick” Francis Ricciotti, Jr.- age 68, originally of Atlantic City, New Jersey, born January 30, 1950 and went home to our Lord on the morning of Thursday, March 15th at Suncoast Hospice Care Center, Pinellas Park, Florida, after a 3-month, courageous but exhausting battle against stage 4 esophageal cancer. Rick spent his life as a small business entrepreneur in various fields from retail to boating. After working many years in his family’s business, Lambert’s Famous Ice Cream Parlor in Atlantic City, he forged a career in the casino industry’s Entertainment field as Lead Entertainment Technician (Sands Atlantic City), IUOE Local 68 casual and most recently as Entertainment Manager (Sands Bethlehem PA) before retiring with his wife of 24 years to Florida’s Gulf Coast in 2015.Rick was an audiophile, classic car enthusiast, lifelong Beatles fan, musician, songwriter, devoted husband, father and brother, and follower of Jesus Christ. He was even-tempered, patient, kind, witty, thoughtful, a born leader, hard worker, was wise and gave sound advice. Rick was excellent at everything he set his hands to do. His blue eyes and boyish smile were endearing, he was easy to laugh with. It was easy to look up to Rick, because he never looked down on you. He was a strong man with a gentle soul. He is survived by his wife, Cristie (Sabatini); sister Ramona (Ed) Wilson of GA; sister Toni (Brent) Young of Absecon; paternal uncle Rudy Ricciotti of Mays Landing; paternal aunt Millie (Gino) Benvenuto of Ventnor; maternal aunt Evelyn Smith of MD; nephews and nieces, many cousins and extended family on both sides.
