I enjoyed 5 years with my sisters in Tri-Sigma Pinellas alumni – while Sandie was at the helm. Her ebullient spirit always lifted group activities with laughter and light-hearted conversation. I know we all have difficulty “letting go”, yet I believe there are wider horizons and much grander opportunities for self-expression in those planes yet to be visited by each one of us. Sandie leads the way in creativity, camaraderie and compassion for those of us who remain in awe of her friendship. May her family and all who knew and loved her be blessed with peace of mind, remembering her life, very well lived.

I have known Sandie from early childhood. Her Uncle Carl was married to my Aunt Bernie. Then she moved to Auburn and we attended high school together. When we turned 70 we began travelling together with two other high school friends – Mary Smaltz & Shirley Rhody. At that time we went to China and began calling ourselves the “China Chicks.” I have many fond memories of out time together. Thank you for carrying for her in her final time on Earth, Paige & Patrick.
