Obituary of Isabella Holston Jackson

Isabella Holston Jackson, 94 of Tampa, FL, peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, due to natural aging, while in the care of Melech’s Hospice House. She was born in Hale County, Alabama, February 25, 1927, to Henry Douglas and Zular Perry Holston and was the youngest of five children and the last to pass away. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27yrs, Tilden Henricks Jackson, Sr., her parents, brother and sister-in-law Perry Stanford and Ruth Meggs Holston, sister and brother-in-law Mary Myrdist Holston and Clarence Andrew Smith, brothers Lucius Douglas Holston and Robert Henry Holston; step-son Tilden H Jackson, Jr., step-daughter and step-son-in-law Elizabeth J and Hagar L Gibbs, Sr., step-daughter-in-law Shirley Fulton Jackson (Jesse); Step-grandchildren Hagar L Gibbs, Jr. and Miriam L Gibbs. She survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary J and David M Wolfe, daughter Carolyn J Gille, step-son Jesse J Jackson; Grandsons Martin Harry Gille, II, Austin David Gille, Step-grandson Mathew J Jackson (Nina), step-granddaughter Brenda M Jackson; step-great-grand daughters Jerrilyn G Crowe (Blake), Sarah Jane Jackson, step-great-grandson Jeremy L Gibbs, step-great-great-grandsons Caden, Bryden, Aidan and Jackson; son-in-law Martin H Gille, Sr. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. And her grand doggies Lucas and Wallace. She was a devoted wife, mother, and granny, she loved and cared for family. She enjoyed working with her crafts, but mostly enjoyed being with and around her family. She was our heart and soul.
