Faith Leslie Pettit, 66, died suddenly at her home on July 14, 2022. She attended college in Virginia Beach, VA, St. Petersburg Junior College and the University of South Florida in Tampa where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She worked as a technical writer and editor for several years in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area before returning to the St. Petersburg, Florida area. She was affiliated with the Society for Technical Communicators, the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association and the Suncoast Children's Dream Fund. After retiring early due to a debilitating injury, Faith devoted herself to outreach to the homeless, spiritual growth and numerous artistic endeavors. A voracious reader, she was an engaging conversationalist whose wit and sharp intelligence never dimmed. Survivors include her sister, Margaret Chambers, nieces Amy and Diana, as well as close friends Adam Miller and Steve Burwell.
