John Daland Elliot, age 90, of St. Petersburg, passed away on May 9, 2023. He was born and raised in Keene, New Hampshire. He attended Exeter Prep School and Babson College. John pursued a career as a stock broker with Elliot Bros in Keene, New Hampshire.
He is preceded in death by his father John Elliot; mother Sally Daland; brother David Elliot; and sister Diane Meserve. John is survived by Jane Smith Elliot, of St. Petersburg, and their four children; William "Bill" (Nancy) Elliot of St. Petersburg, Carolyn (Hal) Hewett of Texas, Deborah Elliot of St. Petersburg, and Jameson "Bixby" (Paul Davis) Elliot of New York; and grandchildren McKenna Elliot and Madison Neilson. .
John loved to travel. He was a veteran of the US Army. John was an avid sports fan, loved long walks, and a good thunderstorm. We will meet up again at "the rock" in Nelson.
The family will be celebrating John's life in Keene, New Hampshire, at a later date.
